Hello guys, I'm a newbie developer and I've seen anons talk about Unity, Game Maker, Love2d, etc. But I've never seen this one discussed about. Some of the reasons i'm interested:

1. Use Java, which i comfortable with

2. Relatively easy to learn

3. Support Linux

4. Consistently updated

So what's your opinion about this one, of course aside from

it's mentioned here and there. if you have to be a faggot and use java, libgdx is the way to go - it's quite good.

If you want to use a library instead of a full blown engine with IDE, libGDX is the way to go. It's fucking fantastic in every regard.

Yeah developing in Linux doesn't give you much choice. I can't into LUA and Godot is just confusing to use. Unity Editor just come in today to Linux though...
