Another reason to use unity on Linux rather than Godot. It was possible to make it work in wine (albeit glitchy) but now it has full support.

Are there binaries available? I'm looking on the downloads page, but I only see Windows and OSX.

Thanks, I guess I should've looked at the experimental builds first. Can't wait to try it out.

Have anyone used Vim with unity?

How is that going?

747478 No.21358

That's nice. Call me when they release it in source code form.

I doubt they'll release source code, it is a proprietary software.

Yeah, I thought as much, and was really just being intentionally facetious (although thinking about it, shitty license aside, even UE4 gives you source access now). Maybe it's just me, but I've just never felt comfortable to the idea of playing long-term in someone else's sandbox for any kind of game development which isn't modding, and by that I'm referring to not having the ability to fix bugs, implement new features when you need them, perform your own low-level optimizations, and even just the idea of not fully 'owning' the technical core of your creative work.

Call me when godot has documentation for 3d

only one of these things is actually going to happen with time
