4chan's /agdg/ is such a clusterfuck of shit an diarrhea sometimes that these kind of things make much more sense to them. You can pretty much keep up with everything here by checking in every day or two.

On the other hand, something like a recap monday might motivate people to make more progress. Especially because there aren't as many games to "compete" with.

I have a feeling that it would have 2-0 games in it every time though

It's pretty much the only thread that sees frequent posts, and at the rate of like 20/week

not enough ass kissing in that one. the point was to gamify the game development itself. you got rewards for consistent progress and participation in the community.
