I thought a good way to start off on this new board and to get a general feel for all your tastes is to make a thread asking what you're watching/reading right now. So what's on your backlog and what anime of this season do you plan on watching? For reference: http://anichart.net/summer

Pic related is my current backlog. As for airing anime, I plan on watching more Non Non Biyori (my favorite anime of last year), Durarara, Prisma Ilya, and Working!!!, as well as the OVA for Yuru Yuri because my daughteru is in it and Mujaki no Rakuen because I'm a huge pervert that liked the manga.

 No.2

Sigh, if only I watched more anime but I sadly do not.

However I have started Yuru Yuri and its pretty cozy so far.

 No.4

Looking through the summer season, the only anime that seem to interest me is the Little Witches Academia movie and maybe that Code Geass movie but I still have yet to watch the previous movies. Not sure how that would go without the charisma of Lel-louche.

>inb4 shit taste

My current backlog is pretty big but not sure what to watch next.

Post what you have downloaded now, either a list or screencap, and I'll pick for you

Now this is a board I can get behind. I'm catching up to Yo-kai Watch as season 2 starts this season. I haven't checked the full summer list yet but I'll be watching the NNB sequel at least. I liked Hibike Euphonium last season.

>Amagi

Haven't seen it yet but heard good things

>Chaika

Aside from the characters, this show is actually pretty average-tier

>FMA: Brotherhood

obligatory series is obligatory

>GitS S2

Stand Alone Complex, Second Raid, or that new one?

>Noragami

My favorite anime of that year other than Non Non Biyori. Went under the radar because everyone was too busy jerking off Space Dandy that season

>Psycho Pass

It's not at all actually "good", but its entertaining if you can manage to laugh at a bad anime. You would have been best off watching as it aired with /a/ [insert pie.gif here]

>Legend of the Galactic Heroes

Another obligatory series and probably one of the most highly rated shows among people that know about it. If you like Star Trek and other deliberately slow shows then you'll like it, but if the idea of watching ships very slowly move across a starscape while classical music plays bores you to death then I'd avoid it

>Kaiji

One of my favorite anime and one of the greatest examples of how you don't need stupidly high stakes like death to build a lot of tension.

I'd say you should go for Kaiji first, followed by Noragami, followed by FMA.

 No.29

>>27

I mean Stand Alone Complex's second season.

I wasn't really finding Psycho Pass all that interesting except the fact that it keeps making me want to watch GitS.

 No.30

>>29

Oh yeah, Stand Alone Complex is bretty gud, especially the ending. I'd start watching that ASAP if you've already finished the first season

 No.31

>>27

>Second Raid

That's FMP, not GitS

 No.32

Meant to say 2nd Gig, my bad
