Does anyone here keep a journal? I recently started one for tracking my progress -- nothing fancy, just a cheap notebook -- and I'll be damned if it's not a great problem-solving tool too. It's also great for venting and whining about life without having to bother other people with my shit.

I do, but I'd recommend typing it on the computer and encrypting it so no one else can read it.
It also makes the "tracking progress" aspect of it easier because you can search for certain words that have to do with what you're tracking easier.
