Hello and welcome to /altgate/.

This is an alternative board for GamerGate with a focus on free speech and self-moderation.

Rules

1) Global Rules apply

Recommendations

1) NSFW should be spoilered.

2) Archive.today or similar services should be used for clickbait articles.

3 Direct links to Reddit should not be used. You already know why.

4) Offtopic will be tolerated, but this board is primarily for GamerGate and GamerGate related topics. So please don't flood the catalog with unrelated content.

Also remember that if someone is being a shill the best response is to not give them attention and hide their post.

Furthermore while they are not enforced here the other rules of /gamergatehq/ make excellent guidelines.

Other than that I trust the GamerGate userbase to have enough sense to handle themselves without constant hotpocketing.

Edit: I am abandoning this board in light of the fact that others are doing it better.

Feel free to continue using this board if you want to, but there won't be any moderation.

I have never actually won a single one of these threads. Everytime I see that comically anthropomorphized banana holding his peel in a suggestive manner, likening the peel to clothes and his peel-less nature to human nudity, I bust up laughing. This happens every time, no matter where I am, be it the house or the bus or in class. Sometimes I laugh just thinking about it. This is a dark memory but a few months back I had just gotten done with a fit of laughter caused by one of these hilarious threads. Suddenly my mom walks in and she's crying. I attempted to suppress the growing urge to laugh but it was getting more difficult. Face red, tears running down her aging face, mom grabs my shoulders and says "Your father's dead."

It was at that moment that I couldn't hold back anymore. I burst into a banana-induced fit of laughter, but the horrible news drew tears to my eyes. I laughed while I cried, tears streaming down my wide open grin, memories of daddy resurfacing and being melded and combined with the naked banana.

I lost two things that night.

Not sure about gg2 but Aaayteam are a (supposedly) pro-GG group who show their love of gamergate by flooding the old /gamergate/ board with crap (with the assistance of GNAA and the /gamergate/ board owner who had a mental breakdown of sorts). If you want to see the level of respect they have to /gamergate/ just look up the board here on 8chan. GNAA is a third party troll group that aGGros pretend don't exist and is apparently a source of much of the drama that gets blamed on Gamergate itself (since aGGros are dishonest and the mainstream media are a bunch of internet illiterate idiots with no sense of journalism integrity).

Hey board owner here.

Sorry for the late response, but I have to agree with you.

I wasn't thinking of /gg2/ when I made this board and it will probably be able to do things better.

I'm going to just let this board go. If people want to continue using it that's fine but I won't be moderating it.

Also for the record I'm not with ayyteam.
