Any story that needs spoilers is a bad story. If the only thing keeping people invested is the promise of some unexpected twist, rather than the emotion of the characters and their situation, then the story lacks any depth worth talking about.

There are plenty of good shows that don't need spoilers, but idiots think spoilers are needed and get hung up on the desire to remain unspoiled.

My dog is troubled by the common perception that stories that need spoilers are anything but bad. Those are my dog's thoughts on the matter.
