I get that lurk more in encouraged, but it shouldn't be a 30 minute ban. That's not even something serious like asking for source on something.

I know you're new, meido, but take it less seriously for christsakes. People are going to have legitimate reason to say you hotpocket for free at this rate.

Agreed. It should have been a month.

If anything it should have been a warning ban, but I doubt it merited that. Telling anons to lurk more is a job for the board users, not the maids.

Meido had reason to ban you though. You requested without even Googling.
>a job for the board users, not the maids.
Meidos ban what users report if within reason. You were reported. One of them was me

Enjoy your ban.

Did you even read the picture? I don't think you did. I wasn't even the one banned, or in that thread. I just saw that on the ban list and want to tell the meido I think his call was stupid. One of the things that's helps to keep /a/ honest is anons that are willing to call the maids out on bullshit and bad calls when they make them. If you reported it, you're just being lazy. Tell the guy to lurk more yourself, or go to the old standby of 'fucking google it retard'.

The ban wasn't deserved for that light an offense, and it didn't merit a half hour ban. And besides that guy's ban ran out like an hour and a half ago.

No. Requesting is an offense according to the rules. Even more so for being that new. Nobody has to tell the guy to Google it if he can't read. His ban should have been longer and you arguing that he shouldn't have been banned at all is a clear indication that you are unfamiliar with /a/ and an assbackward contributor.

How was he requesting anything, other than clarification for NTR? That's not against any rules that I know of. What rules did he break?

Rule 3. Stop embarrassing yourself.

>3. No recommendation threads. That said, there is a >>>/rec/ board, and I encourage everyone to use it, and to search for the /a/ wiki to get you started. Some of the charts there are out of date, and I encourage older anons to help update them
>3a. Source request threads should also be made on >>>/rec/

Asking what NTR means falls under neither of these. I get that you were mad about him being new, but chill the fuck out. And the same goes for the maid. After a day, I'm sure he's seen this, and likely our graduated head meido has now too. Which is all I really wanted.

I have clarified rule 3a slightly, I agree the old wording wasn't specifically covering requests properly.
