>/am/ is literally /int/'s pet anime board

I don't get who's complaining about /a/'s moderation supposedly. There was that /pol/ guy in the homo thread who had a real complaint. But for the most part I don't see an example of people complaining about /a/ having crap moderation, or why /am/ would be better.

>There was that /pol/ guy in the homo thread who had a real complaint
I don't really understand this, it was a while ago but I remember the post was something like '/pol/ here, is this anime degenerate?' which got deleted (not even banned), and then he went off and started spamming threads every day for weeks. He's gone now and good riddance, /a/ didn't need him, hell he didn't even watch anime, he was a cookie-cutter arrogant newfag that refused to lurk.

>or why /am/ would be better

My opinion is that /am/ is trying to do something different to /a/, it's an experiment in what might happen if you just didn't moderate a board at all. Also /int/'s talking about proxyboosting them, not sure why that would work the second time round. It also looks like they're going to try and bait the maids into banning things and then getting screencapped 'proof' /a/ moderation is shit. Well good luck I guess, /pol/ and /meta/ already tried that and /a/ just told them to fuck off. /a/ really, truly does want the maids to keep the place clean and on topic, other boards keep operating in this delusional space where they think there's a 'silent majority' that oppose that idea, but the fact is /am/ already made it to the top bar and died again because it flatly wasn't actually true, their failure is proof of that. Anyway I hope the maids keep on top of this if /int/ actually tries anything, I remember their last raid fell apart because they were lazy and got distracted. They don't even seem to realize their problem isn't /a/ or /am/, it's themselves, whatever happens on other boards will not fix that.

Not quite, he asked if it was gay and it was indeed gay. Don't get me wrong it is pretty good and I like gay. I agree with your evaluement of /am/, it is a pointless board and seems to be people who want to post anime reaction images but don't watch anime.

I agree with you. It's like no one remembers that 4/a/ a few years ago, liked being moderated and would work with staff. It's only recently that this has started to change. I remember people to getting told to fuck off for posting for free and hotpockets on 4/a/ when it first spread from /sp/. Anyone who believes /a/ would want anything other than competent moderation, even away from 4chan, is deluded.

No, he got banned. 3 days specifically.

They he went on a rampage, and got himself a week, then another, then a perma, then that perma got removed because someone accurately pointed out permas aren't a policy Hotwheels likes, so the head mod followed Hotwheels lead.

The real joke in all this is if he had just not acted like a damn nigger and chimped the fuck out, and explained he didn't really mean to cause a derail, mods might have unbanned him right there and it'd all be fine.

Of course hindsight is 20/20 I guess.
