Ahayweh, and welcome to the /a/ meta containment and demoralization facility /ameta/!

If you are here to complain about a ban, please remember to include an archive link/screencap of the thread in question. Thank you!

Also /rec/ is tied with /fem/ and holding its own against /baka/. Ganbatte!

Much more importantly: Heresy and /tech/ have overtaken /a/ again. This simply won't do.

The lurker thread (already on its way out), the Claud stream (Bane ka?) and /co/ crossposters.

Our /co/ is autismal about the things they like and, after what happened to 4/co/, jaded enough to dislike outsiders. So I don't think they're the worst posters we could have.

d7bc17 No.1338

>>1333

The thing about the lurker thread is that it's already pretty damn old and doesn't move that fast. If it were really just that, we wouldn't be this high.

/rec/ is picking up steam, but /ameta/ in turn is falling well behind! Come on guys, we can't let it end like this, we should think of ways to make /ameta/ a more fun board to browse.

Well I guess now we know who were making those posts about how everyone is /v/ and /pol/ in disguise, and giving any real argument for it.

933608 No.1446

>>1442
You try to be a continuation of 4/a/ on /a/. /am/ doesn't.

/am/ also doesn't recruit from /a/, and has grown over the entire month.

I'm okay with both coexisting. What i didn't like was how early on they seemed so angry at /a/ instead of cooperating, when more weeaboo boards is a better than for 8ch than gamergate and meme shit.

eabca6 No.1455

>>1445
The real issue I have with that is its not wrong but 4chan is also /pol/ and /v/ pretending to be /a/. They're the biggest boards and unlike /b/ there's much more userbase overlap between the "core site" boards.

b37ae0 No.1457

>B-but /meta/ and /pol/ said /a/ hated the maids, why would they lie about that ;_;

It has since been revealed this was all a dasterdly plot by /int/

c43bfc No.1468

>>1446
/am/ has also been around for some months and keeps barely staying afloat at 30-40 IPs. At this point any growth they get seems to just be /int/ pushing them more. I really wouldn't have minded /am/, i didn't mind /baka/ either, but the fact they kept shitposting on /a/, and spreading some rhetoric that they were going to somehow destroy /a/ and become 'the true anime board' was annoying as hell until the IP spam wore off and they fell off the top 25.

tl;dr fuck /am/ and fuck /int/

Would /am/ getting big really be such a bad thing? Most of these meta threads wouldn't exist if these low quality posters had somewhere else to sperg out about their chinese cartoons instead of going directly to /a/. It's not like there's a limited number of boards allowed on 8chan.

>>1485
I agree. I hated them at first because of how they seemed angry at /a/, and also it seemed like a "anime reaction images board" instead of a board for people who actually watch anime. However a more hands-off alternative to /a/ is fine, I think /a/ is already fairly hands off, but if there is a board that was even more hands-off it could potentially lead to growth of both boards being larger.
