I've seen some threads that were anime related simply deleted for no reason. There was a thread about anime dubs with Ghost Stories in the OP and that was deleted despite the thread going nicely. /a/s mods seriously need to stop deleting shit just because they don't like it, the board is already slow enough as is.
198b2f No.1429
Wrong. It was reported by users because dub threads tend to be full of shitposters and makes the board easy for entry level newfags.

Came here about that too. I posted a thread this morning about lunches, and it was a thread I consciously lifted from 4/jp/ to see if it would work here too. And surprise surprise, it's been deleted.
So why the fuck is the mod deleting threads? Is rule 7 a lie? Or is he just honestly deleting shit he doesn't like?

I wonder how much that has to do with anime, manga or even otaku culture. Protip: Nothing. There's one reply that at least RPs as a 2hu, the rest is just unrelated blogshit.
What's next? "What car do you drive, /a/?", "What does your girlfriend look like, /a/?", "What colour are /a/'s socks?", "Which party do you vote for, /a/?" If deleting that kind of thread makes me a hot pocket, so be it. I do it for free, after all.

The intent was to see if the anons would take it and go with more posts and jokes about bullied girls and eating in the bathroom. I don't control what happens beyond my own OP post. Even when Claud hated an OP, he'd let the thread sit for a day or so and let it develop or not. You're not doing that, and instead you're acting as a judge for what is or isn't /a/ related. Was the thread reported for shitposting or blogshit? If so, please so me and I'll happily shut up about it because hey, at least then I know some anons don't give a shit about it and didn't like the thread. The point is, you shouldn't be taking it on yourself to delete threads.
a7ddd7 No.2220
>>2219
It was reported for blogshit, which is why I opened the thread in the first place, and I agree with whoever filed the report. It's impossible to show you now since reports are removed together with the post that was reported. It's how 8ch works.
a7ddd7 No.2221
>>2219
Also, I don't have to wait a day to delete a shit OP. Doing so would be inconsiderate to all the anons who don't want to look at your funposts.
a17dbc No.2223

>>2221
Well that's mighty convenient for you. And is the hide button not an options for those anons? You're still cutting threads off before they can possibly go in other directions. That's it for my thread at least, since we're at a stalemate since you can't prove yourself and I don't have proof that you're lying. But I'm going to keep making /jp/ threads in the future, because now I want to see if you're going to delete that for 'blogshit' or 'shitposting', even though they're supposed to be allowed under the rules.

In the /jp/ case it's obviously going to be a Fun thread, in your case you just asked a direct, closed question. The thread was reported twice, the first being when the thread was one post in, which I dismissed and proceeded to try and rerail the thread ( http://8archive.moe/a/thread/228440/#228449 ), but it didn't work. I was going to let it go for a bit to see if a miracle occured, but then the second report rolled in which the other maid caught and was immediately confronted with http://8archive.moe/a/thread/228440 - can you honestly blame him for deleting it at that point? The thread would have looked quite obviously unsalvageable by then, he simply made the prediction that the way the thread was headed it was undoubtedly going to turn into a rather crap and boring blog thread, can you honestly say he was wrong?
