Honest question. Why do we have to support /am/? It's just /int/ posing as an anime board. You have it on board rotation, and there's still faggots shitposting on /a/ trying to start shit. They still have nonstop meta threads about why they hate /a/.

4cd5c9 No.1748

It gives us a place to direct people that just want vaguely anime themed shitposting. Like how /aneki/ gives us a place to send people who want to RP with anime pictures.

I consider it a feature.

Because /am/ isn't at fault for /int/ using them to push their bullshit shitposting rhetoric.

Also consider the following. You can just outbanter them at /am/ and remove their influence. Just don't break /am/'s rules, if they have any I guess.

>It's just /int/ posing as an anime board.
Is there any proof of that? Like what >>1750 said.

I hated them at first because they were bullies, but it seems that was a misconception mostly. Now they don't seem to hate us. I've always thought a 2D/Random is something that should exist. If /am/ was more active, it'd probably be good in a symbiotic way for both boards. The only issue is if too many people who don't watch much anime post there, not because I am an elitist but it is boring to have an anime-themed /b/ with people who only care about anime reaction images.

It's not easy being /am/. Just look at their catalog, there's a lot of threads like "I was banned from /a/, so I'll post this here".

>is there any proof

Go to /int/ right now and I promise you there's a thread about how /am/ is part of the liberty alliance and how they need to find a way to bleed users from /a/ towards /am/ to foil those evil rulecucks and stuff

Same for /v/ into /vvv/, /pol/ into /liberty/ (or whatever it's called).

/int/ is either taking this ironic "funposting" thing too far, or they've actually started believing freedom of speech gives them carte blanche to smear their brand of humor on boards that just do not find it funny.

And in the end that's what pisses me off the most. /int/ says they're doing this "for fun", but nobody but them find their shit funny. They're a bad comedian that can't understand nobody likes their fucking jokes.

They're that one kid in high school that does retarded shit during class and thinks he's "the epic class clown".

I post on /a/ and /am/. I don't understand why some people can't accept that there's boards with rules and boards without.

Trying to force rules or lack thereof onto every board of 8chan is defeating the purpose of user created and boards. I do think Hotwheels should have made any board title that exists on 4chan unavailable just so anybody migrating wouldn't just default to the boards they posted on there, but we're far past the point of doing anything about that.

I agree. For example, if 8/v/ didn't carry that legacy name, there's no way that board would still be sitting at the top.

Why wouldn't it? It's pretty much 4/v/ before fun was banned.

Not anymore anon. Now it's a 4/v/ with retarded and militant anti SJWs instead of SJWs.
