You never came back with a ruling on why this kind of shit is being tolerated. If you're going to take the /a/ name, then treat the board like a proper replacement for /a/ instead of a shitpost board for crossboarders and underage. If you're not going to do that, then don't call your board /a/, so that maybe we can get a proper replacement and /a/nons won't show up, take one look at the board and leave forever. None of us want to go back to halfchan, but every time I've visited I've seen almost nothing but garbage, and that's nearly verbatim the response I've seen every time other people have discussed switching over from different boards / chans.

If you aren't going to try to be a proper /a/, change the name of the board so one that will can pop up. Deleting my posts, which are not violating the rules, not dubspamming, simply saging and replying to people explaining why what they are doing is shitposting, is completely out of line.

If you want your board filled with illiterate redditors and shitposting, that's fine, it's your board. But give the /a/ name back to /a/, it isn't yours and you're just ruining things for all of us by keeping it like this.

This isn't 4chan. That "image dumps go on x" separation doesn't exist the same way the /jp/ separation doesn't exist. Separations which, by the way, only came to pass after said content grew beyond the space 4/a/ had for it, something which you are not seeing on 8/a/.

This is supposed to be /a/, free of modern 4chan culture in general. On all proper imageboards, anime/ecchi/hentai all share the same board and coexist peacefully. On all proper imageboards, the first rule is "everyone is free to create a thread for any fitting topic, and if you don't like the topic, you hide the thread without posting there, and move on". You are not a moderator to decide what is a shitpost and what isn't.

Those people, who want to bring modern 4chan culture here, are not needed, and not welcome. And nothing of value would be lost if they leave.
