Well, the recommended conduct greatly depends on where you live.
Here is a basic tip (I am not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice):
If you live in a country that has guaranteed attorney assistance, don't talk or answer any questions without a lawyer. Any inquiries should be met with "I want a lawyer." Cops will try to persuade you by appealing to your innocence. Ignore them. Don't say a word until there is an attorney present.

if you cannot avoid them. be polite. answer questions politely. don't tell them anything. anything about anything at all. become the most perfect smiling idiot you can possibly be and you just might survive intact.

Avoid prison and death however you can. Don't martyr yourself to make a point.

I agree with both of you, chances are that we will end up having to kill them, the people who killed the Nazi soldiers had to do it (even though killing sucks). It can be justified in self defence e.g. someone is torturing you and generally acting like the Nazis. We must however avoid pointless martyrdom if possible by acting together, we have strength in solidarity.

The states atrocities still continue and each day they grow more powerful and the proletariat weaker, people need to understand their collective strength and take action. The police are and always have been enemies of the working class, they are the soldiers who fight on the side of the bourgeoisie in the class war that they wage against their citizens victims, we must not allow ourselves to ignore their illegitimate authority, if they still insist on fighting then we must fight back, their tyranny must end.

Not all people who are cops are bad. But when they are cops and not people, fuckem. My Grandfather was a cop, and i was going to be one for a very long time, i know most of them are good people when you get down to it.

But power corrupts, and when they have that power hey arnt that good person anymore. All cops are basters when they are cops.

It's got to get worse before it gets better. Also it is important to differentiate how authority operates in a capitalist society and how it would operate in anarchist one. The formal authority figure vs. the informal one. To what extent the individual executes his/her own laws as opposed to the communities general guidelines.

All cops are enemies until proven otherwise. They have all the motives they need to fuck us up. Dont be a dick, but don't tell them ANYTHING.
