Every fucking time I hear this shit.
First of all, humans have been in perpetual evolution since we first learned to walk upright. Using our intellect towards adapting the environment to suit our survival and using technology is what makes us fucking human; otherwise, we're nothing but a bunch of weak, hairless, pedantic apes. Choosing some point in human history and claiming "this is how we're mean to be" has no fucking clout whatsoever; you could choose any arbitrary point in history - anything from cavemen times to Ancient Egypt to the Victorian Era - an make the exact same argument, that this is how we're "supposed to be".
Secondly, this Donovan guy's glorification of primitive human male behavior is just as silly and dumb as LaVey and his bullshit about how being "Satanic" mean to be an animal, and that somehow being an animal or a primitive man is better than being a human. I'd like to see one of these shithead fascist fucks try living in the forest wearing loincloths and hunting with rock spears and see how they enjoy it. There's a reason we gave this up; it's because being a human bereft of technology is fucking shitty.
And otherwise, there's simply no way to even begin to justify how fascism can be compatible with anarchism - although I'm sympathetic to the desire to see anarchism have the same level of unity and order that fascism can have. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible for such a thing to be possible though amongst anarchist collectives with common interests when certain situations demanded a fascist-tier level of discipline and order.
