He could have just chilled in Cuba as one of the most powerful, wealthiest people in the whole country, but instead lived the rest of his life in shithole camps in jungles, fighting capitalism. I wouldn't consider the way he went about things as laudable (kangaroo courts, executions of dissidents, etc.) but at least he was authentic.
