What exactly does this "synthesis" consist of? I'm guessing it's not quite the lifestyle pseudo-primitivist attitude of praising the spooks of yesterday?

As far as I can tell, Hakim Bey is an individualist, stirnerite anarchist, with a bit of a class struggle lining and situationist inclinations.

From the very little I've read by him (at TAL) he seems okay, at least he isn't Bob Black.

If societies at large will come to embrace anarchist projects then you're gonna have to deal with some "icky" subjects in ways that aren't as satisfying as state oppression of the wrongdoer or moral crusades.

Ginsberg was a pederast too and it's held against him just the same, but i don't think you can judge someone that had the courage to be so open about their desires in the first place.
