Anarchism means the absence of rulers, not the absence of rules.

Do I even need to point out that this board is not a functional anarchy… by virtue of being hosted on a private site, on servers located within the borders of some state?

This is a board about anarchism and managed as anarchistically possible within the limits of the software and the law. We do what we can with the tools we have been provided and our current user capacity. I for one, am satisfied with the administration of this board.

But I'm probably addressing myself to a lifestylist who thinks he is full anarchy because he eats from a garbage can, so I can only guess my quite trivial observation will fall on deaf ears.

anarchy comes from the greek prefix "an-" meaning "without" and "archos" meaning "leader'

Anarchy literally means no leader.

it doesn't mean no rules. There still needs to be social rules in any society to function.
