How do you defeat "capitalism" if society still retains the "capitalist mode of production"

Not taking potshots at ayncraps here because syndicalists, Ancoms, mutualists, etc. don't address the industrialization of everything either.

Sure rise up and seize the factories. You still work in a factory for a wage. It doesn't matter if it's a better wage or less hours or more benefits it's still wage slavery.

Just using the factory as an example but this applies to all forms of industry. Whether agriculture or media or medicine or education.

The industrial age is not just a top down imposition of a particular mode of production. It has been internalized by the masses and now seems to be infecting culture and sexuality and identity everything.

Look at Facebook. Its a Friggin factory. Everyone churning out selfies and pictures of their lunch and their kids posed in elaborate performances of cute. Distributed as a "free" service to mindless consumers clicking like and share to more widely distribute these goods to more consumers. Receiving payment in kind from other producers.

Production. Distribution. Consumption.

They've become a mindset. A cultural imperative.

Primitivists have grasped this point. But have decided that the almost complete abandonment of modern tools is the answer. Yet there they are on the internet. Advocating measures they themselves are obviously unwilling to take.

So here's my question I guess

Can you take the tools out of the factory?

Can modern technology be deindustrialized?

And can this be done now without waiting for the glorious day of the revolution that just simply isn't coming?

Abolishing wages and money is part of the revolution, m8.

Nothing wrong with production in itself, just make it follow the needs of society.

well it's not just production itself that's ruining everything because people have been producing things until the first monkey picked up two rocks and started banging them together.

maybe even before if you consider eating as a type of production.

it's the mode of production.

if production/disttribution and consumption are still industrialized in order to produce the maximum amount of goods for minimum costs.

you still basically wind up with capitalism
