Alongside government, corporations already rule.

"Good goyim, remember Capitalism is good, get rid of the state and everything will be fine! Don't mind the man behind the curtain"

Ancaps have already looked behind the curtain. That is why they are accused by the mainstream for being "conspiracy nuts". Ancap and minarchists opposition to the tyranny is why the DHS sees libertarians as "domestic terrorists". Strange that the "all powerful Jewish Illuminati" would want to regard ancaps as illegitimate. If ancaps are working for the "Jews" then wouldn't the "Jews" with their massive power and influence be making ancap version of network TV and get more people to become ancaps?

Looking behind the curtain shows the current banking system is formed by the state creating licensing that permits banks to create money out of thin air (otherwise would be considered fraud) and then charge interest on this fake money. This is directly related to the "Jewish problem" that the OP seems to be reference. The LLC corp is made by the state. Look at any business outrage on a large scale and you can find the state supporting (though this is not disclosed by the "liberal" media). Getting rid of states means getting rid of mercantilism (bad capitalism) along with it. Then there would be a free market. Not perfect, but better than what people have now.

Why should I care about NAP? Is there any logical reasons for that?

2 posts omitted. Click reply to view.

 No.788

>>775

There are reasons, yes. As >>777 pointed, it serves as a extremely helpful standard for legitimate and illegitimate activity. I don't always agree with the NAP but it has its positives. It essentially states that coercion and violence is unacceptable without consent and that individuals are not to place unwanted aggression against other people. It's a somewhat golden rule, something we can identify in many religious and non-religious ethos: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

 No.793

>>777

Is the NAP about ethics really? I see it as a basis for a law system and as you said for conflict resolution. But that not ethics for me.

Imagine a person that sees someone the street getting hit by a car and instead of calling for an ambulance he decides he wants to stick around and write a poem about the situation and the death of the victim. That is an immoral person although they do not violate the NAP. There shouldn't be law to condemn them but I do condemn them. I would want nothing to do with such a person. I would be willing to loose money in order to avoid having to interact with such a person. That hatred that I have towards such "immoral" people is subjective of course.

 No.795

>>793

>Imagine a person that sees someone the street getting hit by a car and instead of calling for an ambulance he decides he wants to stick around and write a poem about the situation and the death of the victim.

>That is an immoral person although they do not violate the NAP.

Prove it. In what way are their actions immoral? How are you able to establish a moral imperative? If you can establish that they have a moral obligation to help, then where, objectively, does that obligation end? Is it immoral of you to fail to purchase a radio scanner and spend your time listening for accidents? Is it immoral for you to have a life outside of saving people? After all, that is precisely what the poet in your example is doing, in principle; he is choosing to act upon his own preferences, rather than providing value to a person who would likely appreciate it.

The person has done nothing to initiate a conflict; they are thus acting upon consistent normative premises and therefore "have the right" of the actions they have chosen.

>There shouldn't be law to condemn them but I do condemn them. I would want nothing to do with such a person. I would be willing to loose money in order to avoid having to interact with such a person. That hatred that I have towards such "immoral" people is subjective of course.

All of this is right and fine.

 No.799

Missed this part earlier:

>>793

>I see it as a basis for a law system and as you said for conflict resolution. But that not ethics for me.

Ethics is the study of normative claims; that is, of "ought" statements. It is the study of how humans should behave. Since any set of propositions must be consistent with each other to be valid, no system of ethics which prescribes contradictory normative propositions can be valid. Thus, a system of ethics must involve a collection of normative propositions which avoid situations of conflicting human action. That is to say, a proper body of ethics must avoid interpersonal conflict, and resolve conflict where it arises.

However, ethics is simply a study; a consistent method resulting in a body of knowledge regarding normative propositions. Law is a collection of customs which put ethical insights into practice. It is simply ethics in action, and arguments claiming the need for law rest upon this definition; mankind is said to be prone to conflict, and law is offered as a practice which resolves or avoids this tendency to the greatest degree possible.

Oftentimes the "Zero-Aggression Principle" is better. Never escalating and attempting to de-escalate the situation always leads to better results.

Every Swiss adult resident would have the right to guaranteed basic monthly income of 2,500 francs a month, if a proposal to be submitted to voters this summer is accepted.

Swiss to vote on guaranteed income for all

In this small country that has avoided most of the massive immigrant movements they want to provide universal welfare to all citizens.

The initiative, proposed by a group of intellectuals, was one of five subjects approved by the federal government on Wednesday for the ballot box on June 5th.

Switzerland will become the first country in the world to vote on the introduction of unconditional income' at the national level.

But it has not won much support from traditional politicians, even those on the left.

The initiative’s backers say it aims to break the link between employment and income, with people entitled to guaranteed income regardless of whether they work.

Each child would receive 625 francs a month.

The federal government estimates the cost of the proposal at 208 billion francs a year.

Around 153 billion taxes would have to be levied from taxes, while 55 billion francs would be transferred from social insurance and social assistance spending.

The action committee pushing the initiative consists of artists, writers and intellectuals, including publicist Daniel Straub, former federal government spokesman Oswald Sigg and Zurich rapper Franziska Schläpfer (known as “Big Zis”), the SDA news agency reported.

Personalities supporting the bid include writers Adolf Muschg and Ruth Schweikert, philosopher Hans Saner and communications expert Beatrice Tschanz.

The group said a new survey showed that the majority of Swiss residents would continue working if the guaranteed income proposal was approved.

Only two percent would stop working, while eight percent said they could envisage this possibility depending on circumstances.

How do my fellow ancaps feel about private courts?

 No.332

They're great, but if you've got a better private method of dispute resolution, give it a go.

 No.554

Private courts are an interesting thought but in an anarchist world, it wouldn't be a stretch to see their "authority" continually challenged.

I think they have potential and are sturdy for dispute resolutions, but that they would widely and constantly be undermined by resisters.

 No.556

>>554

They don't really have "authority" in the sense that we use when speaking of statist "authority". Their judgment is trusted by market actors with regard to reputations of disputants. A person with a bad mark on their reputation from a reputable private court basically has a bad credit rating, which remains until the court recognizes that they've made good.

 No.804

>>554

They have the "authority" to keep the aggrieved from following a grudge through baser means, in the sense that so long as the accused fears a disproportionate response like, say, a lynching. The courts would in all likelihood mete out justice in a far less severe but far more serious manner, with common verdicts being indentured servitude or other value-based fines/
