First book we're reading is The Machinery of Freedom as per Anon's suggestion. Going to post download links later. It's really late so I'm just going to make this sticky and then post info later.

Sweet; I was already reading it, so I've got a head-start. The other things I've been researching this week seem to tie in, too.

So I've never really been in a book club. When/how do we start discussion? Do we just ask questions?

If so, I offer that we might wish give the critics the benefit of the doubt and address any potential weaknesses of the approach. I, for one, think that identifying such a society as having a certain territory, rather than mixing geographically with existing statist societies, would make it a target of foreign aggression. Thoughts?
