I'm not a fan of brutalism, but I see its uses. It's handy for preaching to the choir, in that it gives the people who already agree with you the sense of righteous indignation they need to take a stand. It's pretty shit for trying to change anyone's mind, since people are disinclined to listen to someone who insults them.
If he posted that here, it'd be pretty much fine. Posting that on a board targeting people who disagree with him is counter-productive. I am sorry that you had to deal with that, but this is the internet so you're going to need to get used to it, and I would encourage you to research the points he brought up.
