I find voting to be little more than begging by the peasantry. I am largely apathetic to the vision of those who believe in the long-term effectiveness of voting, as resource protectionism and supremacy is, and shall, remain top priority for groups with sociopolitical power. In my opinion, voting "works" when social tensions arise past presented obstacles and cultural groups spark enough outrage or encourage social actions to such a degree that alternative decisions must be undertaken. However, those cases are not always successful and, indeed, in some emanations, cause further social turmoil.
Wasn't approval for congress at 30% or something and above 90% of them got rehired? It's all a sham, in the long run anyways.
I think direct action is far more profitable but its activities require delicate purpose.
