Why do you think ancaps are day by day being treated like a fedora meme and taken less and less seriously?

The Fedora Meme is a projective and transformative criticism. Fedora's were/are popularly associated with style and a sense of composure. Contemporarily, some portions within the internet project the fedora wearer as a signifier for social ineptness.

Its association with ancaps are a by-product of both psyops and opposing ideological critiques. I say, 'psyop', because it is obvious that all anarchist groups are extensively catalogued by intelligence agencies, and it is established that there exists multiple programs to ensure a splintered audience of persons who are opposed to centralized systems.

On the other hand, it is precisely a (neo-?)modern critique upon a person of "formal" attire. Historically, fedoras have seen their usages as meaningful expressions of empowerment, sophistication, style, danger and power. That there exists a consistent mnemonic dialogue against certain proponents of X positions suggests that the "fedora" is undergoing a forced projection that restates an extremely personal dislike of a person's stance and the implied meaning of said person's awkwardness.

The meme attempts to materialize itself by its widespread utility but its critique is ultimately a superficial one. Broken down, the meme greatly suffers, particularly because it's an exacting sign of social conformity that projects a relative sense of displeasure.

Because people are taught that only really large states can topple really large states.

Maybe when we have a global government we can just ask the martian government to save us.

Because you lack theory and act like praxeology is scientific fact

>claims a lack of theory

>mentions the theory in the same sentence

>implies flaws in said theory without substantiating the claim

I'd like to see you try reject praxeology without contradicting yourself. You might as well try to convince me that you are incapable of using language and that argumentation never occurs.

I mean, you realize that you can't have empirical science–that is; informal logic–without a foundation of formal logic, right? Praxeology is simply the application of formal logic to the analysis of purposeful action. Saying that praxeology doesn't work is by definition the same as claiming that action cannot be addressed rationally.

Better question: how can ancaps be taken seriously again?

Socratic dialogue. Reach out to people and just hash it out with them. You'll be surprised how many people will actually find themselves agreeing with you about the basics (i.e. peaceful interaction, self-ownership, etc.). AnCap is slowly becoming a reality, people either won't admit it, don't realize it, or don't see it yet.

Just think about it: in the last five years we have seen major developments that run parallel to the aims of an AnCap society: Wikileaks, Yelp!, Defense Distributed, Uber, Snowden, SpaceX, Cryptocurrency, Silk Road, etc.

All of these are relatively well known developments that are viewed by many, if not most, people as having positive impacts on society. We'll get there anons, just you wait.
