Welcome to the new Animation board! This is the general Q&A board if anyone is interested in animation.

Rules:
Global rules are in effect
1. Porn is allowed (and by extension, loli), but only under spoilers until we can make a nsfw tag.
2. Do not call for or advocate doxxing.
3. Do not call for or advocate raiding.
4. No spamming, spambots or flooding.

Guidelines:
1. Try not to stray off topic as this is an art/animation board.
2. Keep it civil.
3. Constant shitposting will be deleted and banned for 30 minutes.

idk bro, there doesnt seem to be a lot of content to moderate, and i dont think i can cut it. but thx for the offer anyway. also is this board only focused to learn animation or can we discuss it generally? because there is interest in animation as a whole in many boards but they sort of focus on just one side of it. we should try to shill on /co/ /tv/ and half-chans /ic/ where there are constant animation threads but they all end up in a discussion about a bahi jd. hell i even remember seeing an image that said anime /a/ likes vs anime /v/ likes. im just sayin, like to make this place grow.

This is a general animation board.
I posted the learning animation thing to catch the attention of newcomers and to help beginners learn the basics (even though I've been posting very slowly).
I think /ani/ is more of a niche board where artists can discuss their works and inspirations. Whenever I browsed animation threads that tend die really quickly are just the same posts over and over again.
If you want to post on other boards about animation I suppose it seems fine as long as it doesn't go off-topic. Probably something along the lines of:

Hey it's the old/dead mod of this board, seems like someone took ownership of my board.

I apologize if it seems that I haven't been moderating the board, but I have been lurking the board to see the 3-4 people that actually use /ani/ to post something so that I can respond.

By the time I realized the color ids were gone and the posting count increased, it was too late for me to log in to see what was happening.

Or maybe I forgot my password.
