I think the voice work is partly to blame. Having a slight pause after "hey" would make that hand more workable. The timing in the voice is just as essential to the performance as drawing.

Thanks, I've been practicing a bit more lately and I see a lot of the flaws I've made.
About the linework, I like to make things messy before I do the contour lines because the whole one-single stroke process takes too much time in my opinion.
