Shinya Ohira and Shinji Hashimoto sakuga Anonymous 08/24/15 (Mon) 14:20:57 097d71 No.645
Can we just take a moment and appreciate our lords and saviours Ohira&Hashimoto?

I really think that - if we talk about dynamic scenes in eastern animation - they are the best you can see.
Sure there are great animators that can express fluidity, but Ohira/Hashimoto will always win.

I always thought Kid's Story was just exceptionally good rotoscoping aside from the skateboarding sequences near the end, but if they really did all that from scratch then I'm doubly impressed. Definitely going to try studying more of their stuff in the future.

OP here.
I was actually talking about that scene. The skateboarding sequences, I mean. I've watched (or tried to watch, if I am missing something) everything Ohira made and, jesus, it's really astonishing.
