Which book do you re-read the most?

For me it is the Hobbit

 No.95

Silmarillion.

I think I've read it some 5 or 6 times. I can probably recite the elven princes and kingdoms of Beleriand by heart.

 No.96

Children of Hurin. It's the perfect mix for me tone wise between narrative and legend.

 No.98

I'm reading it right now, it's freaking brilliant. Kinda feels like a fantastical Icelandic Saga.

I need to try a and read it again because I tried to read it in elementary school and it bored the hell out of me

>>96

never even read it or heard of it

Read Children of Hurin first so you don't get it spoiled for you (a simpler version is in the Silmarillion). The thing with the Silmarillion is that it's a great book, but it's very slow and hard to get into if you aren't a diehard enthusiast. Children of Hurin is a little more narrative based, so a bit easier to get into. Warning though, it's not a happy story.

Goblet of Fire easily.

It's hilarious, he fucks his sister and then kills himself! HAHAHAHAHA

 No.165

The Hobbit just because it was short and I read it like 6 times in High/Middle school.

Out of Tolkien's stuff, the Silmarillon. I tend not to read it straight through each time. Just a little here, a little there, depending on what mood I'm in. But it's my go-to book for that.

Out of all the books in the world, Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. It was my favorite book when I was a kid and I still love it. It's just a really fun story.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

 No.345

Probably Return of the King, there is a lot of new stuff every time I pick it up again. Two towers gets close.
