>>2107It's funny, because my experience was just the opposite. I was moving my hand out of fear of seeing what was underneath it. Stopping and just drawing the lines I needed make my work substantially better (or neater, at the very least.)
And, OP, don't trust people's numbers too much. People "totally studied for TEN HOURS!" by reading for 15 minutes between facebook and hulu sessions. As long as you're pushing yourself and creating on purpose, you're fine. If you absolutely want to pad out your stats, tack on some quick/simple exercises like quickie hand drawings or gestures or what have you.
