If I move from traditional media to digital what do I do with my old materials?

I work with trad meda and I been really thinking to move but that is something that makes me wander.

 No.2517

You keep using them whenever you feel like it?

I'm not sure why you're asking this. Moving to digital doesn't mean you have to completely abandon traditional.

I want to move to digital to stop buy new materials when I run out of something
>Want to paint something
>Don't have certain color
>Buy said color
>Now I have a new tube to use that will last longer than the other tubes I use
>Will have to buy more materials again the future
Its a vicious circle.

But I don't understand why you need to get rid of them. Can't you just keep them back somewhere just in case you want to use them again sometime?

Somebody else may find them more useful.

Try Corel Paint, it's the closest thing there is to trad media. That is unless tech has moved on, I'm on minimum wage I can't afford to know about things I can't afford.

(Off topic)

Fuck, this image is ancient. I remember seeing it posted on the 'Pants Press Sketch Blog' (?) back in the 00's. A lot of the artists who posted there worked on the 'Flight' comics.

You can get krita for free which is better than corel paint in at least a couple ways.

There's also Artrage, which is around 50/60$ at most

In what way is krita better than corel painter? I'm highly skeptical of this.

>being skeptical of free shit

You literally have nothing to lose if you just give it a try.
