What's up /art/? Would you like to make a little dosh?

I'm doing some design work for a local used clothing store. Right now, I'm designing a postcard that has all the basic information of the store on it. I need an illustration to put on the front, something eye-catching and attractive. I was thinking something along the lines of the attached pics, but it could be only loosely based on that.

The general idea is: draw a figure who is fashionable, and give it a summery feel. Could be pretty abstract, could be very detailed, as long as it looks cool. Also, I'd prefer if it has kind of a cozy feeling, like a used clothing store feel, instead of the aloof/imperious thing that a lot of fashion sketches have going on.

Post your submissions in the thread (watermarked is okay). I'll choose the best one and pay that person $30-60 through paypal (or potentially bitcoin), depending on my opinion of the quality of the work.

There's work to be done here besides illustration, and I am not an illustrator, more of a layout and typesetting person. I figure people like to draw on this board, so here's something to get you started drawing, and if it works for what I'm creating then I'll wire you some money for your permission to use it in an advertisement.

I'm totally fine with people posting watermarked stuff ITT, so we can work out a deal over email or IRC or whatever.

Anyway, $60 isn't an awful lot of money, I'll just tack it on to the bill for the ad.

The artistic boards of 8chan are all mostly dead, it's actually pretty unlikely you'll find anyone here even if you were doing a proper commission.

Proper commission i.e. actually paying someone, not asking people to work for free and then picking and choosing to pay if you like what someone did. Art counts as work too since it takes hours upon hours to do, so you need to treat it as such.

Of course that won't work in an anonymous imageboard because you don't know anyone's identity or reputation so you can't trust anyone. But then again, the same goes for OP.

Asking anons for commissions is pretty silly. You should just look up some artists you like and ask a few until someone agrees. A good artist isn't going to do this for $60, though.

I think you'd need to write up a contract for the work and provide evidence that you and the client are working with each other. You will also have to ask the client if they're ok with it, because I'm assuming you're working under contract too.

Did you mention you were out sourcing your work too? Because if the artist of the illustration doesn't get paid the company, not you, will get a bad reputation.
