It's hard to give feedback to this stuff because I don't know what part is some kind of a fetish. For instance, all of the feet are way too damn huge.

Thanks for the helpful information about space! I knew that things became darker out there, but had no idea they went pitch black. I feel like it's within the realms of artistic liberty to give a more colorful shade palette, but the stuff about the stars is definitely important and good to know. I wasn't really sure how to make the city terminate in the other one; I didn't even consciously realize i was making it go on for forever. The shading on the white kangaroo is infinitely better the way you blocked it in; I just didn't have the guts to put his front in shade. The inconsistent anatomy on the giant green kangaroo is also a good point.

The whole thing with the super large feet was basically per the request of the people who bought the art; I tried to give them what they wanted. Thank you for the helpful feedback! I will keep it in mind for future projects

Of course, pure black space is kinda boring, but so is flat blue. Usually you do something like pic 1 related if you want to make it look good. If you take very long exposure photography, you get something like this (google "milky way"), although you can't normally see it with your eyes.

As for the city, photos are the best reference. When you expand very far, usually you hit an ocean, a forest, or empty plains of some kind.
