I think there's several different aspects to comics, and you can use one to compensate for the lack of another. For example, good story or fun expressions can compensate for lack of quality.
There's also some simple design related things you could improve on, they're technically not related to art skills, but rather knowledge. For example tangents, the back wall and your character's face in the first panel touch right at the edge, which doesn't look very good. The window in second panel is all messed up. The lamp would create a nicer frame if you moved it further from the guy. The last panel is off balance and the white space is a little confusing.
