PEN TIP LOOKS LIKE THIS
SHOULD I GET A NEW ONE?
I'm using a fine (F) tip Faber-Castell pen and the tip looks like this.
I was discussing stuff with people earlier and they mentioned that part of the reason my shits fucked is because my pen is garbage now.
I can't hold it like I want to (ie relaxed between forefinger and thumb) but I don't get any ink flow when I do and even when I do hold it in a way that generates ink flow, the pressure I have to exert combined with the awkward grip is enough that it fucks with my control.
Obviously I can't blame everything on it, but I seriously think that this is a big part of the problems I've been having over the last few weeks. I'm fairly certain I've completely chewed through this pen since I've been using it for at least a month on sketch paper. Specifically 50lb "fine tooth surface" strathmore sketch paper. Is that bad? like does that chew through these even faster?
