I posted this on /co/ a few hours ago.

What do you guys think about this art style? I call it the "grinning potato" style and it's in pretty much every cartoon nowadays.

I get that it's supposed to be easy and fast to animate. But I really hate how it looks.

Everything is bad when in high enough quantity

This style has obviously been overused to the point where it's almost just a template to fill out

Sans' head is more akin to a sphere with hacks at the side, sort of like this nigga

This, unless I'm mistaken, is two overlapping circles with the upper circle being the cranial mass and the lower, off-center one being the outline of the jaw and cheek

I am 100% sure most people design those characters to look like that 2p England dude.
