Hi /art/, could any of you cool cats rate my sculpt?

Made in Mudbox
Based off Beethoven's facial structure
First time doing hair

Could you provide more pictures from different angles of it? Kind of tough to say anything useful about a 3D object with just one.
If you used a specific reference picture, include that too.

Nose seems huge, but nothing appears truly out-of-place/proportion to me.

Reference for face. The hair was just me.

I'd say the head curves in a bit too sharply/soon towards the back, making it look as if squashed in from the sides.
The top of the head is somewhat flat, makes the head look box-like in the side pic.

The face is basically fine but doesn't match the size/shape of the head.
Comparing the 3D to the reference, Beethoven's head has more volume (the head itself, ignoring the hair).
Rounding/bulking out the head a bit on the sides & top should help.

The hair looks ok from the front, but off from the side. 'Directionless' for the lack of a better word?

Thank you, I will do more work on it today and post more WIP screenshots.

Nice work OP.

Does anybody have resources regarding sculpture (especially real-life sculpture on wood)?
I'm not sure if I should make a thread about that.

There's some good topology refs over at >>>/3d/

Which is what I'm assuming you're looking for since topology is relevent for anyone replicating facial structure.

Actually not too bad assuming you did that from a sphere.
