I guess this thread might be controversial, but here it goes:

Even though reddit's asatru board can be used to gather some information (I did it before), it is absolutely awful in most other aspects. With the recently announced goal of reddit becoming a "safe platform", people are looking for alternatives, the most promising one being voat.co. Voats asatru board looked promising, but was unfortunately taken over by a redditor.

The consequence, among others, being many videos being deleted, including Varg's. That and the opening post containing the typical "no racism" babble indicate in which the new board will go. It's really funny to see them testing out a now site because they are concerned about censorship and the first thing they do is delete things they don't like.

Even if voat does not take off, we should take the chance and occupy other related boards, making sure they don't fall in the hand of redditors.

The latter will simply redirect to heathenry.

And I am currently working on it, even though I suck at it. I will probably copy a lot from the sticky here. I hope you guys will be able to help me keeping it sort of active by posting stuff, in order to keep it in our hands. Else others might try to take it over. I'd really appreciate some sort of help.

The traffic on voat increases with the intensification of reddit's issues. /v/Heathenry however remains. I still hope if reddit implodes big time, /v/Heathenry can be a bastion for non-universalist and general sane Heathenry, especially for people who would never touch an imageboard. I don't want them to run into universalist arms.

But for that, the moderatorship must stay away from the reddit folk. Ideally people could create related subs, for the same reason. Maybe think of it as claiming and working new land for our kind.

I dunno wtf Voat is but after getting banned and disillusioned with reddit maybe i will check it out. I think Imageboards often degenerate into autistic fests, so i cant have a good conversation. But most people might be like that on infinite chan.

Also /v/Asatru is yet again under different ownership. The new owner might be probably less bad than the redditors before, but still considers "racism" to be a problem.

I really don't like plugging myself like that, but I really think it's incredibly important to create spaces of discussion and organization free from the reign of SJWs.

Yeah, we literally are in a war about spaces. Not only about real ones, but now also about virtual ones. I notice that in Germany that there is a massive lack of "room of resonance" for people who oppose the current politics of European genocide. 8chan is luckily one of the few places, but considering how hard it is to keep it up shows how dire the situation is. And even then, the majority of a population would never resort to image boards.
