No. You don't need to be forgiven for shit, and you don't deserve to. That's a christfag concept. Asking forgiveness implies that you've done something you can't fix or make up for. In our philosophy, there's not much that's like that, certainly not your own body. You've been lazy, that's all. You can still fix it.
Asking for forgiveness would make you feel better about it… which would encourage you to stay lazy for longer. Our way is to ask for help or encouragement, like >>6396 said. Then, you have more motivation to try harder and fix it, not less. Not only that, you now owe it to them to try your damndest to get better–to ask for help and then not try yourself would piss off the gods. They aren't there to do work for you.
There's nothing for them to forgive, anyway. It's not their damn problem how lazy you are. That's another christfag concept–that the god or gods care about everyone's well-being, and you owe it to them to keep it up. You don't, if you want to be lazy and get fat it's your body, but they won't be impressed with you. You get fit and skillful to make them proud of you, like a father–they call him Odin Allfather for a reason. That should be your motivation.
