Dutch are literally germanic. They had the exact same germanic norse pantheon as other central germanics in europe at the time before the conversion.

Objectively speaking there was next to no difference culturally speaking from someone living in what was later to become the Netherlands back then and someone from Denmark, it was one big germanic cultural and racial sphere

If your family was actually Dutch, you should have known the answer already upon viewing the names of our days.

Dinsdag => Dings (nickname of Tuw) = Tiw/Tyr

Woensdag => Woen/Woedan = Wodan/Odin

Donderdag => Donder = Donar/Thor

Vrijdag => Vrije = Frija/Frigg

they conquered the hebrides (barely populated even today btw) , the isle of man (barely populated) , limerick and dublin. however, they did not completely genocide the native people. sure, they muh dicked like everyone, but nowhere near the scale needed to leave a large genetic legacy.

also, i use germanic as a cultural, not genetic term, as it is far too difficult to determine precise differences between different europeans. anyway, "true germanics" (original ones) are those that originate in scandinavia. pretty much everyone else is the same as they were before genetically with maybe 1/16th or 1/32nd germanic blood.

Well most scots are blonde as fuck, also note the graph in picrelated. Racially speaking there can be no doubt that they are of exquisite nordic stock.

But your point is taken, i know what you want to say with the "cultural context" and stuff. Question is, what are scots to you if not germanic? Celtic or pictish?

the celts physically were pretty similar to Germanics. sure there's little differences here and there but the romans and greeks said the celts had pale skin, fierce blue eyes and either red or yellow hair. same thing was said of the germans, so determining who is Germanic and who is Celtic based on hair color is retarded.
