Can someone explain the appeal of these? I'm trying to understand it but it just seems like they're made to cater specifically to lonely and emotionally stunted guys to exploit their need for affection.

In my experience all they do is make me really uncomfortable to the point where I can't even pay attention to the ASMR.

It's not the triggers in the videos, it's what the videos are about. And I do get ASMR, just not from awkward videos of some obsequious girl I've never met trying to simulate a relationship with me.

Sometimes when im getting annoyed at not being abls to sleep i watch this sort of shit and imagine the scenario. Tends to get my mind off of not being able to sleep.
