What do you do to make ASMR videos if you're too poor to afford +400$ 3Dio?

 No.3081

Super clear binaural audio is nice, but not necessary

Go look at the old videos of the big artists, all dogshit mics but still decent asmr

What other tricks that I do if I don't have high end mic then?

Learn into post-processing.

I think of doing an ASMR video for some time now, and I figured that a good EQ and some nifty Exciter could make the sensation even more tingly.

Also, you can fake binaural sound via convolution reverb and it works pretty good.

Most important is a quiet atmosphere though in my opinion. A noisy CPU fan can ruin an otherwise great soundscape for me.

What guides tutorials do you recommend?

Is there specific mics? or a simple headphone mic will do?

 No.3152

I once made some binaural ASMR for a friend. I did it by using a freeware audio recorder that allowed me to select the source of my audio. I then took 2 microphones and opened 2 instances of the program. I turned down the recording volume a bit, then recorded 2 audio tracks. I then synced them in audacity and balanced the audio so that each mic played in one side. The audio recorder I used was called Fox Magic, although I bet there are others you can use. For positioning the mics, I found that trying to put a barrier between them didn't really affect much. What did affect the audio was turning down the recording audio. Having it too high diminished the binaural effect.

Hire an actress for however much time you can for $200.

have her wear different outfits for as many videos as you can make with her time.

make a video with patreon link

last video should be crying about harassers on the internet and "taking a break" for a while.

you should rake in about $400. Idk what you'd do with the rest of the money.

Can't really help with that, I'm sort of an autistdidact and rarely watch or read tutorials. All my smartassing is based on the fact that I'm doing electronic music and soundscapes for about eight years.

I guess thought that some basic tutorials about e.g. "vocal mastering" might help; in terms of a microphone, a decent USB one might be just enough, but as with all hardware, you will need to try some for yourself.

> I then took 2 microphones

You mean you have 2 mic ports?

Speaking of ASMR in general.

What do you think of this?
