Ah the woe's of cheap chinese shit.

I was trying to image M13 Cluster. My Celestron 130EQ just cannot cope with the weight/moment of the DSLR attached, it won't stay still. I tried using a second alt-az mount to prop up the camera and relieve the EQ mount, but by that time the sun came up.

I was out to image Messier 13/M13, the great Globular cluster in Hercules.

Couldn't get any images of it after maybe 3 hours, but looking at it was pretty amazing. It looked like an error of sorts, just wrong. Got a pretty wiggy feeling knowing it is ~25,000 light years away and still takes up a large portion of the FoV. It's Made up several-hundred thousand stars.

Thought I'd do a sketch of the 20mm eyepiece view. Center is M13, the two stars aren't really in the right place but close enough.

Anybody want to buy this thing off of me? I've had this 130 mm for nearly a decade now but the motor in the tripod is dead and the battery holders are missing and ripped off the wires. The telescope tube is fine-ish, nothing wrong with the mirrors, but they will need cleaning and probably alignment and adjustment.
