Hello all. As you can see, I haven't been very active in the past several months. While you guys have been some of the coolest people I've encountered on this site, I've really grown tired of imageboards, because it feels like they've lost their soul and grown stale. So I've decided to transfer ownership to a new person.
I did say that If I added more staff, it would be through establishing an IRC and getting to know people there, because I didn't want some troll/angry religious person to wreak havoc on the board. However, that was going to be if /atheism/ greatly grew in size. Seeing how 8chan is sortof decreasing in size, and most of the people on here are Christian I don't see that happening, unless some sort of shift happens.
I have however found someone who I believe will serve this community at the very least better than I have recently. A while back, I coincidentally found the tumblr of the guy on here who occasionally posts his atheism art. He's been here for this community and contributed to it damned near since it's "forming" sometime around Dec 2014, nor does he seem like the kind of person who would fuck up this community. So I believe asking him to be the new owner is a much better idea than holding an application process and hoping that the person who sent the most legit sounding app isn't bullshitting me.
I hope you'll all forgive me for leaving my position, and I hope you'll have no problems with the new guy.
