I like junk science in the name of religion.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/science-news/10631973/Turin-Shroud-may-date-from-time-of-Jesus.htmlWe believe it is possible that neutron emissions by earthquakes could have induced the image formation on the Shroud's linen fibres, through thermal neutron capture on nitrogen nuclei, and could also have caused a wrong radiocarbon dating," said Professor Alberto Carpinteri, from the Politecnico di Torino.
I admit I don't know enough about
Neutrons and earthquakes to refute this, but it sounds fishy.
Given all the earthquakes in places like California and Japan, shouldn't we have more of these shroud image thingies?
