The saddest thing is, this honestly isn't the dumbest thing this guy has said and I think best demonstrates how he thinks: child-like.

Being better to the planet is a good message but his solution is to essentially end all of civilization. Even agriculture, one of the most basic requirements for any civilization is deemed bad in his eyes.

And then his solutions to all of this is laughable at best. That somehow everyone will haul ass and create some utopia post-scarcity society over night and immediately shut down every other power supply or whatever. He doesn't seem to realize that things require work and things like coming up with an efficient energy supply that can both meet the needs of the world but also not fuck over the planet requires an incredible amount of time, energy, and resources.

It's not space jews or anything but I do think this video is his worst simply because he demonstrates such a terrible inability to think about consequences for anything.

They used to be a time in our history, when some guy could wander out of the desert and say he that God had talked to him and people would actually respect that.

Nowaday, we lock that guy up for his own welfare.

My point was that if our modern civilization existed then, the main figures of the bible would be in psych wards. Anyone who says that god told them to genocide an entire racial group, or told them to sacrifice their child, or told them to murder an unbeliever today would be involuntarily committed.

And what does that say about us as a civilization that we tolerate these people who believe that these murderers and egomaniacs are the highest standard of civility. What does it say about us that we tolerate someone who worships a genocidal tyrant, or someone who genuinely wants you dead because they believe that you're a degenerate contributing to the downfall of civilization?

We as a people need to band together against insanity wherever it may rear it's ugly head.

And my biggest point: Why isn't religion in the DSM? Religion has contributed to more harm than any schizophrenic delusion, or suicidal tendencies.

Religion is not a poison, it's a venom, and like any envenomation, it must be treated with an antivenom.

Religion is LD-any.
