I'm guessing no one read the FAQ update. Understandable, that thing is TL;DR at this point.

Unfortunately this is something the board is heavily divided on. When we held the poll, it was almost literally divided 50/50. Yet for some reason, most of the antis refrained from posting in that thread.

I myself am for ID's. They are good for boards like this, and what you guys have said is true, I have caught "Alex's kid" pretending to be two different people (pic related) >>4490 . People say ID's sniffle discussion and prevent posts being judged at individual value, but already I'm starting to see people guess who made other posts, which in my opinion not only defeats that, but is much worse for the integrity of the discussion. It was one of the worst things about halfchan.

But I don't really want to go against what people want. So I propose this: How about we turn on ID's for a 1-2 week trial status? That should hopefully be enough time for us to see if they work out.

If you don't want to see ID's for a week or so, now is your time to say so.
