Steven Spielberg is directing a movie on Moses. Can you imagine if him or George Lucuas or JK Rowling came out as Atheists? If confirmed it would greatly hurt sales for their media and you would see lot's of blog entries like this.

The secret to winning them over is to put a cross on the back of your book and dumb down your fiction with a generic good vs evil theme, and a cartoon devil of an antagonist, to make Christians review it favorably.

Good for them but that still doesn't equate atheism with that belief. Plenty of Christians probably believe that too. Plenty of capitalists believe it as is likely that plenty of cinephiles believe it but that doesn't mean that believing the myth that 25% of college women in America (the statistic would actually be 20% since they say it's 1/5 btw) goes together hand in hand with christianity, capitalism, or the love of movies.
