New to this board and want to know the rules? Have a question for atheists? Then you should probably read the FAQ (Updated: 3/19/15). It's not necessary, but don't be surprised if people ignore you if you don't elaborate further on a question already answered here, or the moderator does something you didn't expect.

Im not trying to pull a statuefag, but holy shit last time I checked /islam/, the people there weren't this radical: https://8ch.net/islam/res/4973.html

While you got some more rational people in that thread, holy shit there are people on /islam/ who unironically support ISIS. "If allah wills it" is no fucking excuse to support the genocide of people (nor is "Jaysus is on A'murrica's sahde" a justification to nuke the fuck out of the middle east). Why would you support a regime as evil, barbaric, idiotic, and oppressive as ISIS, no bullshit excuses?

What the fuck happened to the /islam/ board? Last I checked several months ago, they seemed like a bunch of live and let live misguided non-obnoxious people, not this shit, like once there was a thread where they were sort of concerned about ISIS taking over Mecca. Apparently not anymore.

Yeah I noticed that too. Two months ago they were more moderate. Now they have threads where they say they understand why gunmen wanted to shoot artists in Texas and saying they asked for it.

Shit, even their head admin seemed like a (somewhat) okay guy (despite having bad moderation), but here he is in that thread advocating ISIS just for the sake of having a righteous caliphate.

I'm starting to wonder if the whole "act nice in foreign lands and slowly turn into an asshole after you've built up an image" has some actual ground in Muslim society, and isn't a bunch of stuff overblown by fundies. Of coarse it's always been somewhat true to an extent, but im wondering what the accurate extent is and how widespread this is in their beliefs. I want to give that "nice muslim across the street" the benefit of the doubt as being a misguided person who wants to live and let live just like I'd want to with a non obnoxious christian who doesn't care what I believe, but other muslims who fake that shit make it hard to not be a bit paranoid, especially with how they are fucking up Europe.

If you knew how religion affects people you would had known that there is no moderate islam in the first place. People were just fooling around until they showed their true faces.

Could it have to do with the >>>/isis/ board?

22c177 No.7838

That's quite a flip. What the hell happened since the time of statuefag that they went from reasonable to so absurd?

Maybe they actually read the Q`ran.

cafdbb No.8731

Seems pretty weird if you ask me. I'm starting to wonder if their board got raided, but even then their board owner wouldn't act like that. Guess they were always assholes. Though the question of why the sudden flip happened is still needs an answer.

They were trying to pretend to be decent people but they just got bored and went on to act like typical Muslims.

YouTube embed. Click thumbnail to play.

/islam/ got a new visual theme (green background with a lion), it's shit.

Also, what I like in islam is that these guys worship an empty room.

So it's like they're almost atheist.

They are probably straight up ISIS members.
