It's more of a pamphlet, with 71 pages and I can only share some of them. They also rotate the publications. The guy hesitated to give me one unless I promised to read it. I think he expected me to sit in the tidy Christian Science reading room and listen to his spiel. He told me it was not Scientology!

I did skim it over and write some annotations for fun. I'll share around 20 pages. The later pages that I post are more interesting and legible. They explain a little about how the church started over a hundred years ago when someone was dying and found SCIENCE IN THE BIBLE. It also warns you not to trust other books that PLAGIARIZED the (holy) book of the church's founder, because the miracles of other books won't work. And won't you please buy all the books of this church, and pay for a subscription to their online web portal?

The format to the pamphlet is:

1.) Chapter title ("Is the Universe, Including Man, Evolved by Atomic Force?)

2) Quote biblical passages

3) Quote the book of the founder

4) Briefly indicate how the chapter title, biblical passage and book of the founder are related, no matter how tenaciously.

5) Start a new chapter and repeat.

6) End the book by suggesting you buy the books of the founder to read more. These snippets and quotations are just a preview so you know how wise he really is.

Nothing interesting here. But the last page talks about their publications which you can pay for.

Last two pages. A lot of interesting cults began close to where I live, including Family International. Might be a fun use of a weekend to procure more brochures.
