I'm hoping we and /islam/ (which is a bit behind us on the list) can get up there too to piss off the more annoying people at /pol/. Then the 8chan userbase will have one hell of a balance, which would be great.

The people on 8chan tend to be younger than on 4chan. A lot of them just learned Santa is fake, and but have yet to learn there is no sky-dad. If you want a big board with a majority of atheists, 4chan's JP is still probably your best bet.

Not that guy, but anyways you shouldn't do that. 8chan is a place where people can be free to discuss their opinions and beliefs. Christianity is something that is dying in western culture. Though they still are the majority, atheism and agnosticism have risen very quickly in recent years to where irreligious people make up 15% of the US now. Christians are also being attacked on many fronts by muslims and liberals who want to push progress and political correctness. So it's not surprising at all that they are trying to gain some ground on this website. I wouldn't be surprised if that's partly why Hotwheels declared 8chan "officially" a christian image board, despite 8chan being a place for all creeds.

So an us vs them thing is not going to work well for people who are afraid that they'll loose everything. What we need to do is show them that loosing your faith and becoming an atheist isn't the end of the road. We need to show them that we aren't like the SJW's, and that we wont fuck everything up.

Holy god damned fuck are you delusional. Look around you. You sound like a reverse /pol/lack who isn't joking. Most people on this site from what I've gathered (and I might be wrong) are christian.

From my assessment, their traditional values which they don't want to get rid of are being attacked by SJW's and they aren't happy about it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the majority of gamergate is christian. The thing is, I think a lot of people before all this were invisible christians who may or may not have been disconnected from their faith. Now that /christian/ has popped up, they might have been struck with the motivation to connect themselves with god more, or maybe just be less invisible with their faith. I say this because Christianity on this site was damned near invisible on this site except on pol until that board got bigger. We atheists (for now) seem to be the minority on this site. Hopefully someday we will grow larger. I just hope some christians are coming here and actually seeing some of the contradictions in their faith.

I agree that they do like to spread and infect any culture they can (if you need proof, look up unblack metal), but I don't think they don't care about it. christians (especially in america) are used to being the majority and used to being able to push their weight around. Everything might be fine and dandy, but the second someone mentions something about atheism or a distaste for religion immediately its "tips fedora" until the poster just gets fed up and leaves or a mod locks the discussion for being off topic. This shit happened a few years ago when I used to browse reddit, it happened sometimes on 4chan, other sites, and now here. I think the fact that christains do have other hobbies that they care about is actually what makes them worse than SJW (from a penetration standpoint).
